Intro
My name is Agnes Coaker and this is my page,I'll update it at least
once a month (or try to), so there's always some new stuff to read.I like
the colour blue,oh and before I say anything let me apologise for any
spelling mistakes I will/already have made.)
On this page there will be things on my fathers farm, it'll always be
changing,so enjoy it or at least don't lol (which is now officially a
word because its in the oxford dictionary) to loudly at it. So recently
I've been succumbing to the facebook phenomenon, yes, yes, yes, I know;
facebook! From all I can tell it isn't actually that bad, don't know what
games kit to bring in? Ask your friend on facebook! Can't remeber what
your maths home work is? Ask your friend on facebook! Want to show the
whole world a picture of you wearing a terrifically low cut top and short
skirt? Put it on facebook....

Garden
Winter in our garden means dying nettles and dead grass, not a good
look but you come to expect that at sherberton...

Farm
The farm we live on is fifteen hundred acres big, which is a large farm
for Dartmoor. We have cows, sheep, ducks, dogs, chickens and Dartmoor ponies. My
mother and father have both helped to set up a Riggit Galloway society
(www.riggitgallowaycattlesociety.co.uk),
a riggit being a very rare type of cattle, there being only sixty to seventy
breeding cows in the whole UK, however they were not in immediate danger
as some countries such as Canada and Germanyalso have a few rigits. They
also make great burgers/mince/assorted bits of beef and lovely hair on
hide rugs (which you can of course buy from us)
My cows are all Angus's, My sheep (and I don't mean that as in the plural
sheep, I mean one pedigree sheep )are Suffolks (there used to be more
but, shall we say, they arn't particually suited to where we live).
Our colt Darth-vader is slowly getting better and is now officially 13.2hh!
A hand of course being 4 inches (top countryside fact of the day there
for you). Our replacement ducks are now arrived and fully settled in, they continue to enjoy duckies old paddling pool/sand pit with water in it.
We have four dogs; Gyp (loves to go places... without my father), Meg
(happy go lucky little terrier).Tiger (young, but learning. Slowly). Not
forgetting my grandmothers jack russel/chiwawa pointy eared terrier called
poppy(last and definetly least). Sadly both fly and becks died in the
same week, fly in her sleep one night and becks sadly had to be put down
due to a problem with her sinus. Milly passed away over the summer due
to age related problems. We hope to get a new deerhound soon, contact
us if you have a pedigree deerhound bitch on the cheap.
Goody-Goody stuff
How could I have a blog without putting something about charity in it,
I'd feel aweful if I didn't! If you want to give rice to people in 3rd
world countries go to free rice
where you can answer questions on a subject of your choice and for each
one you get right 10 grains of rice are donated to third world countries
or go to care2 where you can click
to help protect habitat or help orphans (human and ape).
